Recipes?

So when we go to the Back to School BBQ/Meet Your Teacher night, we have to bring a dessert. I thought of Chocolate Chip Cookies, but I don't want to be booooooorrrrrrrrring. Anyone have any grand ideas for something easy but not boring like CCC?
