Other Home

Hey, I've got another home too. Come visit! I'm just getting it off the ground. If It Were Only That Easy

Ow!

I woke up stiff and sore this morning. Who knew that after being sick for days and then going out and mowing the lawn and cutting down branches would make you sore? Bahahahaha It does feel better after being up and moving around. LOL

Today is supposed to be a decent day. I see though, on Weather.com, that we're supposed to be getting PM showers. Let's hope it's late PM LOL

Home Security

I like to think that our neighborhood is safe. But, I also know that looks can be deceiving. Recently we found out that there may be a drug house in my parents' neighborhood. Everyone knows that most of the time, along with drugs, comes theft.

I think that we, and my parents, need to look into getting an alarm system. LaserShield is peace of mind for almost any budget. It has many options such as a panic button, battery backup and it's even pet friendly!

Another great convenience is that you can find them at places like Home Depot, Sears, K-Mart and even Costco. Convenience and affordability! You can't beat that! I think I'll go check them out soon. Tomorrow may be too late!

Gorgeous!

It's a gorgeous day outside. According to weather.com it is 65 outside. Absolutely perfect! I mowed the lawn and I cut down some branches on the tree that overhangs the driveway. I was going to pull weeds, but I'm not feeling overly wonderful at this point. I'm feeling rather weak, actually. Oh well, they'll still be there tomorrow.

Be a Patriot!

After 9-11, everything and everything was patriotic and had a flag on it. It was hard to go anyplace without seeing an American flag flying proudly.

Now you can have that patriotism right in your own home. Patriotic-Posters.us has fantastic patriotic posters. They even have sexy posters. Don't worry! It's just women in patriotic bathing suits.

They've got posters having to do with famous Americana like Route 66 or the Old West. They've even got great posters like the one with Uncle Sam that says "I Want You for U.S. Army!" So if you're looking for some patriotism for your home, check out posters like these:

You'll find them at www.patriotic-posters.us

Flashbacks

I was over visiting Mama Lee's blog and she had this on her page. I love it! We still have the VCR tape of the Muppet Show with this on it. Oldest Princess and I used to watch this all the time! It's even filtered down now to Youngest Princess. If we're in the car or wherever, one of us will say Manamana and the other will do the doo doo doo doo doo.

Bahahahaha, this is another favorite of ours:

UGH

As I'm still recovering from the sickness, now Oldest Princess has it. So I'm home again today. Hopefully, if we can keep Craig from getting it, we'll be done with this sickness by the end of the week! Keep your fingers crossed!

Pirates, anyone?

Anonymously

A few years back on the parenting boards I used to go to, we used to have a game called "Secret Parent". We would send little emails or e-cards to the person whose name we had. At the end of the month, we would try to guess who had our name or just think of some clever way to reveal whose name we had.

Because of this being "secret" we obviously couldn't use our normal email and had to try to figure out a way of getting an email no one knew about. Nowadays we could have used Anonymous Email.

Maybe you can send your special someone an anonymous email and they'll think they have a secret admirer!

Woe is Me

UGH! I'm down for the count. I seemed to have picked up the little bug that Youngest Princess had. I'm so glad she listened to me and had no problems with "sharing"! LOL Makes a mother proud! LOL

My Day is Complete

Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

I am done with work for the day. It started at 6 and just ended at 7. I worked 11.5 hours today. Not to mention I'm still beat from the daylight savings time change. Tomorrow will be a better day! :)

My Future's So Bright....I've Got to Wear Shades

Ever since Oldest Princess was born, I've had to wear glasses all my waking hours. One thing I miss is wearing cute sunglasses. But, there's good news! www.opticsplanet.net has prescription Eyeglasses and sunglasses! Then I could look cute plus still be able to actually see!

Have you ever wondered how to pick out that perfect pair of sunglasses? www.opticsplanet.net even has a How to Buy Sunglasses Guide. Sounds like just what I need!

If it has lenses, www.opticsplanet.net has it! They have binoculars, goggles and even flashlights!

I'm going to go check out the motorcycle goggles. I could really use a pair when we ride the quads. It really hurts to get sand in your eye.

As an added bonus, if you spend over $29.95, you get free UPS shipping. Not only do you get a great selection, but you get free shipping.

Good Morning!!

It's Monday! That's not necessarily good. Bahahaha At least Youngest Princess seems to be on the mend and everyone else in the house seems to be doing ok. Hope I didn't just jinx us. ;) Ooops, one minute till I work, better go.

As my friend Heidi says....have a day!

My ring...the pics

Cyndi asked for pics of my ring. They're not the best pics, but here you go. :)

Naptime

Ahhhhhhhh, I took almost a 2 hour nap today. Boy did I need that!

Youngest Princess is on the upswing, I hope. Daddy is helping her eat some Dora soup. Poor thing is just weak as can be.

Yawn

Yesterday I went to the scrapbook convention. On my way home, I turned my phone back on and there was a voicemail. It was from Craig. He said that Youngest Princess was sick. Oh lovely. I was supposed to go to Craig's aunts to scrapbook, but I offered to come home. He told me to go ahead and go, that they would be fine. I got home then at about 9:30 and was really tired. I offered to sleep on the floor because Princess was sleeping on the couch. Craig said, nope, go ahead and go to bed, I'll stay out here with her. So he slept here in the chair. I woke up at 4 something and came and checked on them. They were both sleeping soundly, so I went back to bed. But about half an hour later, I heard them both so I got up. Princess was sick again. Poor thing has been sick all night. I'm exhausted because I only got 4-5 hrs of sleep, but I sent Craig to bed. I need to be at church in half an hour. I'm not dressed yet. LOL I'm supposed to be singing today. That's not going to happen. I sound like a frog due to my cold. *Ribbit*

Daylight Savings

Did you remember to 'Spring Ahead'? I just realized that because of congress or whoever it was changing Daylight Savings Time, that our automatically changing, always right, alarm clock will be wrong for the next however many days. It's programmed to advance an hour on whatever day DST should have been. Not today. That means, I'm going to have to remember to go in there and change all the alarm settings. I can't change the clock part at all. It has some internal computer chip or something. GRRRRRRRRRR
