The Ultimate Blog Party

This is a sticky post...current posts are under this one. Thanks!

Party on, Wayne! (love that movie hehehe)

I'm Kelli, married to Craig for almost 14 years. We have two beautiful Princesses, ages 12 and 5. Oldest Princess enjoys band, dance, computers and riding her quad. Youngest Princess enjoys Princesses, My Little Pony, turtles and riding her quad.

I work as a bookkeeper for our church and also work for a company that monitors online message boards and chat rooms. I used to also work for an attorney here in town as a bookkeeper, but since he moved to a different city, I'm down to two jobs. lol

In our free (ha!) time, we enjoy camping, riding our quads, and basically just being outdoors. I personally enjoy scrapbooking and photography. I'm also a huge Disney freak! I would love to live closer to Walt Disney World or Disneyland.

Anyway, that's "all about me".

Party on, Garth!

Coupons, Coupons, Coupons

I have it on good authority that, for Christmas, Santa was looking for a My Little Pony comforter for Youngest Princess. Santa finally found one at Target online. After finding the comforter, Santa went looking for Target coupons. Santa told me that it was so nice to go looking for coupon codes and finding so many choices to use at www.couponchief.com. Not only did Santa find Target coupons, but he found many other online store coupons as well. With all the presents Santa has to bring, he was overjoyed at finding a coupon, or sometimes, even more than one, for each store! Santa was able to save some big money this last Christmas!

My ring

So Craig called the ring place at 7:00. Dude who answered said, yeah, it was here yesterday. Craig then said, um, my wife was in this morning and it wasn't there. *eyeroll* So we went down there, it was there. I really don't think it was there this morning though. Then I noticed behind the counter by their phone, my order sheet was taped up there with CALL when in. Gee, thanks for the call morons! Anyway, my ring is on my finger and boy is it shiny! The prongs look stronger and I can see the one diamond that had sunk. Wooooohooo!

GRRRRRRR

My ring is supposed to be available after 6:00 tonight AND they were to have called me when it came in. Let's see....it's 5:58. My phone is silent. GRRRRR

Ring Update

So my ring was supposed to be done by 6:00 last night. I go in this morning and they can't find it. They check their log and nope, never came in last night. They call their jeweler and the chicky's on hold FOREVER. Literally at least 10 minutes. Finally they tell her that ooops, somebody put it in the bin of things to be done instead of the one to be delivered. It should be there by 6 tonight. *eyeroll* We'll see

Teacher Appreciation Week...again

Yay, it's Friday! As far as TAW goes, I went to Learning Palace yesterday and looked around. I couldn't decide on any one thing, so I got Mrs. N a gift certificate. Now I need to have Youngest Princess make her a card.

Another Funny

As we were driving today, Youngest Princess said, "Mrs. N had new shoes on today!" I said, "Oh really? What color were they?" She proceeded to tell me, "you know, the color of your forehead!" Um, alrighty then! LOL

Teacher Appreciation Week....cont'd

I keep forgetting it's Teacher Appreciation Week. Youngest Princess and I walked into school this morning and there was a mom there giving Youngest's teacher a floor puzzle. This mom's daughter had been in Mrs. N's class a previous year. Boy did I feel like a heel. I told Mrs. N that I just keep forgetting it's TAW, but we really do appreciate you!!

So any suggestions on what I should get? I thought maybe a gift certificate to a teacher supply place we have here. I'm just not sure she goes there. It's spendy! I may go take a look around though and see if I can find the perfect thing.

Rugs Done Right

I had the opportunity to look over the Rugs Done Right Blog. There is so much information that can be found there!

For instance, I didn't know that if you have an area rug, it could cause static electricity, which in turn, may hurt your computer. There are now new non-static fibers that are being used in some area rugs to prevent this problem. Who would have thought? I'm glad someone did!

There are so many good tips on how to buy rugs and how to save money in doing it. Also on this blog are tips for cleaning area rugs, which is really helpful because it's not exactly like you can just throw them in the washer!

They also came across this neat little feature for when you're browsing online looking for rugs...they have the names of Benjamin Moore paint colors that match that particular rug so you can get a paint chip you like from your local store and then match it to the rug so you know exactly what color you're getting when purchasing online! What a great concept!

Overall, this blog is really helpful when it comes to choosing area rugs! Go check it out!

Poor Kitty

Youngest Princess has a tape measure. All of a sudden I hear, "hold still now, Sweet Pea!!" She's trying to measure the cat! Bahahahahaha We're very lucky in that our cat will basically put up with anything or anyone. LOL

He's a Superstar!

Go look! Cyndi told me that Eric was on the news but that they didn't see it. I then asked what station and my detective skills went to work and I found him! Not that it was really THAT difficult, but hey, for the enjoyment of the story, let's just say I had to work REAL hard to find it. LOL

I even showed Youngest Princess if she saw anyone she recognized and she said, "J's Dad!!!!"

Keylogging

My Oldest Princess is 12 years old. She also loves the internet. I'm not ashamed to admit that we, as her parents, have put restrictions on her online activities. We've also considered using a keylogger to track where she's been. We do trust her, but we also love her. Love her enough to be concerned for her online safety.

I had an online friend who was using a keylogger for her daughter and discovered that she was chatting with older people, going to sites that were not appropriate for her and giving out way too much personal information. They also discovered that she was "cutting" herself. Because of the keylogging, they were able to get her the help she needed.

I think there is definitely a place in the internet world for a keylogger.

Yay Me!

I used my brain today! LOL I had a bunch of t-shirt designs to do for people on my Disney boards. I got the brainiac idea to bring the laptop to dance class, so after work, I swung by home and grabbed the laptop. I even lucked out when I got to dance class that I picked up a wireless network from somewhere. LOL So anyway, I got the designs all done!! Woohoo!

Teacher Appreciation Week

UGH! My mom just called me as she was taking Youngest Princess to school. I'd forgotten it's Teacher Appreciation Week. My friend's kids are bringing their teachers a daffodil. I don't have any flowers growing right now. I hope Youngest doesn't feel too bad. I told her to color her teacher a picture instead.

Housekeeping Channel

Boy do I need to peruse this site! My house looks like a tornado went through it! It's the The Housekeeping Channel. Go check it out!

It has different categories for each room of your home. It even has tips on cleaning your windows, walls and ceilings! There is even a place where you can do a search for a cleaning service in your area. If you don't want or need to search by room, you can just go to their list of articles or reviews and browse through them. Pretty neat feature, I'd say!

I'm definitely going to be digging through this site! My house really needs it!

Party Quiz

Cyndi tagged me to do this:

You Are Cheesecake

Rich, sweet, and simply perfect.

You're not boring - you're just the best!

Let me know what you are!

To-Do List

I'm going to put my list of things to do here, in hopes that if I continually see it, I'll get something done. Ha!

* Laundry
* Work 4 hrs.
* Clean Youngest's room
* Clean our room
* Pick up toy area
* Pick up table area
* Pay bills
* Keep from getting sick (I'm afraid I'm already losing that one) :(
* Get scrapbook stuff organized for Convention next weekend

Love this song!

Found this site through Cyndi who found it at Slacker Mom's blog. It's pretty neat. On the site it even has the lyrics to the video.

Oldest Princess

Looking back over my posts, it seems I don't post much about Oldest Princess much. She's just in that stage where I get the "look" if I ask to take her picture or I get the heavy sigh if I ask if she wants to go do something. It's not that she doesn't have things going on, etc., she's very busy, just the age, I guess.

Yesterday, Craig and Oldest Princess did go see the movie Bridge to Terabithia. It had one part in there that was a surprise to her, but I won't say anything more on that so as not to give it away.

My Little Pony

Youngest Princess and I went to see The World's Biggest Tea Party!! She absolutely loves My Little Ponies. She had a ball at the show! We were second row in the center, but it turns out they didn't sell the first row, so then we ended up being front and center!

Memories

Bahahahaha, National Lampoon's Vacation is on right now. I've seen this movie so many times and laugh every time. Yeah, it's stupid humor, but sometimes that's just what you need, you know? Poor Aunt Edna. LOL

It's Only Money, Right?

I had to take my wedding ring in to be fixed today. It's needed to go in for, oh, about 5 years now. LOL I was missing a couple of prongs and where they had welded my engagement ring to my wedding band, it had cracked. I've noticed recently that another prong must be loose because I was catching it on stuff and I even scratched my face with it. I told the girl behind the counter that I was missing prongs and she said, oh no, I'm sure they're just worn down. She took out her little eyeglass thing and said to the other girl, look at this, they ARE gone. *eyeroll* She then said, "I'm surprised you haven't lost the diamond out of it!" Whatever. So anyway, I get my ring back on Thursday....after I give them $124.50. LOL They said the weld would just crack again because it was so thin so they were going to have to add a shank to it. I also needed it resized 3/4 of a size bigger. Wouldn't of had to do that if I had just lost the weight I keep meaning to lose. :-/

Blog Party!!!

Hey everyone, don't forget!! Head on over to www.5minutesformom.com and join in on the party!! There's a ton of prizes as well!

So what are you waiting for? Go party!

Yippy Skippy, part 2

We all survived Chuck E. Cheese. We blew through 100 tokens in no time. LOL It was fun to just hang out for a while and have fun. Found out too, that the manager decided that the school will get 20% of the money instead of only 15%. Woooooohooooo!

Yippy Skippy

Guess where we're going tonight? Chuck E. Cheese. You are all jealous, I know it! LOL

Seriously though, we're doing a fund raiser for Youngest Princess's school. The school will get 15% of the money tonight. Hope they do well!!

Jeff Childress

Many of you know that one of my jobs is bookkeeper for our church. I listen to a lot of Christian music while at work. Jeff Childress is a christian singer who also has a country flair. Go check out his site, he's got many songs up there to listen to.

One of my favorites is called Soulmate. Listen to the lyrics and you can hear the love for his "soulmate" that he feels. I would be so thrilled to have had that song written for me.

Jeff also has a song he wrote about our service men and women called Blood Bought Liberty. He wrote the song after helping a neighbor's wife with some work on her house while her husband was deployed. He posted the story with the song, so go check it out! It's a great song!

Shopping+Empty Stomach=Bad Kelli

Oh boy, I was hungry. I went to Walmart to pick up a few things. BAD IDEA! I came home with the stuff I had gone for, but a bag of Reese's Peanut Butter Eggs, more Cadbury Eggs and more Mini Cadbury Eggs jumped right into my basket! We also got Peeps that Youngest Princess picked out for her and her sister. Blech! Hate those things. Oh and on a separate note, this year there is green Peeps too! We, however, got pink.

I just went and looked.....green Peeps aren't the only thing new this year. They're also making sugar-free Peeps, made with Splenda and cocoa Peeps. LOL

It's a Blizzard Out There!

Ok, so the schools had a delayed opening this morning, right? Guess what? Not a single flake fell. Bahahahaha I bet someone at the school district has a lot of questions to be answering! I was out taking Oldest Princess to school and it was rain. Granted, there was some "thicker" rain on my windshield, but no real snow. Oh and guess what? We're supposed to be getting snow tonight. Sheesh, I guess I should check the district website. I'm sure they've closed it already!

My boss is funny. He asked Oldest Princess today if she'd heard they're having a two-week delay for school starting today.....you know, cause it "might" snow sometime next year! Bahahahaha

Wordless Wednesday

City Shuts Down

We're expecting snow. No accumulation, per se, but snow. Guess what? Our schools are on a two-hour delay. I haven't seen one flake today. We're so not used to snowy weather here, so the city shuts down. I'm not even sure we have a snow plow. LOL

Sickies update

Phew! I was able to get the prescriptions from Walgreens yesterday with little to no problem. I thought for sure I'd have a problem, we always do. But I went through the drive through, picked up Craig's insulin and Oldest Princess's two prescriptions, or so I thought. I pulled away from the window and luckily decided to check. I mean I just spent $75 on prescriptions, I was going to make sure I had them all. Good thing I did. They didn't give me Craig's insulin, which they had forgotten to take out of the refrigerator. *sigh* So after sitting in the drive-through for 15 minutes, we had to go inside anyway. There were literally about 10 cars behind us so I figured it would take forever inside, but there was only one person in front of us. Phew! Was able to get Craig's insulin with little to no trouble. Yay!

So anyway, Oldest Princess is feeling a ton better! Her attitude has improved as well. Bonus for us all! LOL

Loans

About a year ago or so, we refinanced our home. We went with the same institution that carried our previous mortgage. We had had good luck with them and gotten a low interest rate, but I would have liked to have a site like this one for comparing mortgage rates to see if we could have gotten a better rate from someone else.

With the refinance, we also paid off the credit cards. But, we have since used them again. With the one card we have a high interest rate. We need to find one that isn't so high. The site compares credit cards in the U.K. I think that's such a great idea to be able to compare them all in one place!

I've been trying to put extra money into our savings account. I'd like to have a little cushion in there. I always have, and it has come in handy at times! If you're in the U.K. and looking for comparisons of interest rates on your savings accounts check them out!

www.nationsfinance.co.uk even has comparisons on car insurance with online discounts going through their site. What a great incentive since insurance can be so high!

If you're in the U.K. and looking for any kind of loans or insurance, take a look at www.nationsfinance.co.uk and compare rates all in one place!

Pink & Purple Fairy

Saturday we went to Build-A-Bear Workshop. Youngest Princess had gotten a gift card for there for Christmas. She made a beeline for this cute little pink and purple bear. I tried to show her the other ones she could pick, but she had blinders on. This was the bear for her!

First she got to stuff it:

Then she got to put the bear's heart in:

Then the bear got an air bath and a good brushing:

Finally she got to not be naked anymore. Youngest Princess picked out a fairy costume and a Princess Aurora costume for her buddy:

Finally, our purchase was done. "Pink & Purple Fairy" was now a part of our family!

Sickies

Well, Oldest Princess has a sinus infection and her chest is tight according to the doctor. So she got prescriptions for Amoxicillin and Albuterol. My mom had to take her to the doctor because I was working. I told my mom to just take the scrips to Walmart, they should just be $4 scrips. Craig went after he got back in town to go pick them up. They were going to be $32 a piece!!! So, because the girls' insurance doesn't do Walmart, I screwed up. I just figured it'd be $8. *sigh* So today I get to call the doc and get new prescriptions sent to Walgreens. GRRRRRRRR

The OC

Yep, I watched The OC. It was one of my favorite shows. I even have Season 1 and Season 2 on DVD. I didn't get Season 3 for Christmas, but I will be getting it and of course, now, Season 4 as well. The last episode was last week. I wasn't thrilled with that episode. It seemed too jumbled with them trying to close everything up. It was usually such a well-written show. If that last episode would have been a regular episode, I would have thought it "jumped the shark". Anyway, I am sad that it's no longer in my Thursday night lineup, but I do admit that I couldn't get into the whole Ryan/Taylor thing. It kind of lost something after Marissa died.

Flashback

Anyone remember this post? Yep, I had it again tonight! Yummmmmmmy!!

Cadbury Eggs

Hey! It's that time again! Time for Cadbury Eggs and that cute little bunny that lays the eggs. Mmmmmmmmmmm While at Target today, I got a pack of the regular size eggs and a pack of the one dozen mini creme eggs. Woohoo!!

We're Nerds

My husband is a nerd. Yes, he is. He has programmed our remote to run the Roomba.

I was giving him a hard time about being such a nerd when he brought up the fact that I was walking around watching the Roomba vacuum my floor. Bahahahaha

Hmm, wonder which of us is the bigger nerd? Wait! Don't answer that.

Rumors, Rumors

So, I heard through the grapevine that PayPerPost, you know, the site that pays you for online advertising, has some big news, but I don't know what exactly that is.

I'm wondering if it will be double payouts on some opportunities! Wouldn't that be great? Ooooh just think what I could do with all that moola!

Or maybe a trip to any destination that one lucky winner (and a dozen of their closest friends) chooses! Oh man, what a dream that would be! Anyone care to guess where I'd pick? Not very hard to figure out, I'd be going to Walt Disney World! But, since I was in the area, I'd probably have to stop by PayPerPost HQ too!

Or maybe a new car! It would be painted green with PayPerPost logos on the side. Maybe it'll be a Hummer! A real one, not an H2 or H3, but the big daddy of all Hummers!

Or maybe a PayPerPost tour bus going around visiting posties. So many possibilities!

Well, I'm sure it's got to be one of those ideas above, or else the big news might be that Ted, the CEO of PayPerPost, has been abducted by aliens, was brainwashed on their spaceship and now has three nipples, twelve fingers and a horn growing out of the top of his head. Yeah, I think I hit the nail on the head! That's got to be it! Don't you think?

Coolness

I was browsing blogs and I was at Purple Wren's when I saw she had posted Montage-a-Google. It makes nifty little things like these:

Cool, huh?

Real Friends

I just had the best chat with 3 awesome online/IRL friends. It was so much fun, laughing and giving each other a hard time! I needed to laugh like that. It made some other garbage really insignificant and that's a good thing.

Friends???

Gee, you just don't know who to trust anymore, do ya? Some people just don't get it, do they? Oh well, I think these certain people have to lash out at others because of their own unhappiness. I know that I AM happy and secure in my life/marriage, so these people aren't worth my time and effort. I wish them well and hope they can find their inner peace before it costs them all their friends.

Shutdown Day

I was reading over at Julie's and read about Shut Down Day. March 24th is supposed to be shut down the computer day. Go to the website and vote if you can do it or not. I voted that I couldn't. LOL I'm an addict!

Look at Cyndi

Go look at Cyndi, she made one of those cool little widgets like I made. I need to go add some more things to it.

Cute Little Widget

Look at this cool little Box.net Widget I came across:

Get your own Box.net widget and share anywhere!

Its a flash player that streams media. You can upload videos, music, photos, and even podcasts! They offer unlimited bandwidth and will host 1G of files for you! All for free!

So go check it out and let me know when you've done it so I can come check it out!

I'm Spoiled

Yes, I'm spoiled. I admit it. My Cherokee needed gas. It was on empty and the low gas light and buzzer were on. My wonderful husband offered to take the Jeep today and fill it up and then take it to work if I took his truck today. You've got yourself a deal, buddy! I don't know why, but I H.A.T.E. getting gas. He also said that I should have told him last night that it needed gas and he would have gone and gotten it last night. I'm spoiled and I know it! :)

Online Dolls

My youngest princess has gotten into playing on the computer lately. She's pretty good at it too! She would love to create dolls online. I'm sure even Oldest Princess would like to play Dress Up Games too.

There's a great site where you can make cute little dolls like these:

Aren't they great? You can play dress-up games and make avatars that you can use in forums, chats or even fashion competitions! What a fun way to play dolls! Sure beats paper dolls where the clothes won't ever stay on.

There are so many options to choose from! They have gothic dolls, mermaid dolls, princesses (a favorite here in our house), pirates, babies and even holiday dolls! You can even make one to look like your favorite celebrity! There are so many options to choose from! The only limit is your imagination!

I created a cute little doll in no-time flat! My doll is on the red carpet wearing a gorgeous formal gown and her name is Tricia. I can't wait to go play some games with my little princess doll.

My princesses are really going to love this website! Even I had a blast making dolls! Go make one and we'll have to play in competition sometime!

We're Skippers

Well, we're skipping out on dance class today. Youngest Princess is still coughing and stuffy. I'm sure the other parents would appreciate it. LOL Hopefully, one day soon, she'll be over this darn cold!! I called the doctor on Friday but they said even though she's had it so long, if she doesn't have a fever and she seems to be feeling ok, she's probably ok. She's been acting just fine all this while, just stuffy and coughing. I keep thinking every day she's getting better but then she starts coughing a ton. LOL

Let There Be Light!

Our house needs one thing more than any other. It needs light! For whatever reason, there are no overhead lights in the living room or the family room, so we have to depend on lamps. Our lamps cast shadows, so I would love to have something like this wall mount fluorescent light on the wall behind the couch. Isn't it pretty? I like the brushed nickel look. There are many others on the http://www.shoppremier.com website that I would love to have in my home.

I would love to have some new Bathroom lights as well. It's so hard to get ready for the day with the light fixture we have. I would love to have something like this in our bathroom. Isn't that a cool fixture?

Whew, what a weekend!

We actually had a 3 day weekend here. We took advantage of that and went with my parents camping at the coast so we could ride the quads. We had a blast. The weather wasn't exactly cooperating but we got a couple of good rides in. Youngest Princess even got to ride the grandkids' quad all by herself! She was really good at it too! She'd just follow anywhere we went. Oldest Princess rode Dad's quad, but was a little apprehensive about it all. We had a few preteen moments too, but overall had a great weekend!

Song Implant

Do you ever get a song stuck in your head? Of course you do, you're human. LOL My best buddy, Cyndi got me the KT Tunstall CD for my birthday. The girls and I have been listening to it in the Jeep. My favorite song is Black Horse & the Cherry Tree (Woo-oooo). It's Youngest Princess's too as we can't just listen to it once, but we have to listen to it numerous times. So anyway, that's the song that's stuck in my head at this very moment. I just thought I'd share a song implant for you too!

Podcasts

Are you looking for a place to host your Free Podcast? Check out www.mypodcast.com. Not only will they host your podcast for free and give you free bandwidth, but you'll get unlimited storage too! You can't beat that!

So get out there and make those podcasts! The World Wide Web is waiting for your creations!

Funny Story

After picking up Oldest Princess today, we were on our way home when this "kid" (under 20) pulled up next to us at a stop light in a lowered Honda CRX. He started lurching forward like he was trying to get me to race. Um, first off, I was turning and he was going straight. Secondly, my Cherokee could drive over the top of him. Thirdly, he didn't know who he was messing with. ;) He kept looking over and I just kind of rolled my eyes at him. Little does he know that I used to drag race. Don't worry, not on the street, on the race track. LOL When I was 16, I took Top Eliminator for the whole race. I got a trophy that was probably 3 feet tall. LOL I still have it around here somewhere, probably somewhere in the pit we lovingly refer to as a garage. LOL So anyway, moral of the story is, don't challenge someone to race when you don't know their background. ;)

Are you short on funds? Do you just want a little extra spending money? Did you know you could get paid for reading this very post I wrote? Or any of the other posts on this here blog? Well, guess what???? You can!

Here's how it works:

I write a post. Remember, it can be about anything! It doesn't matter which post you choose to review. Review my review of the latest TV show, or review my posts about my dingy blonde moments. Really, it's up to you!

You click on the link at the bottom of the post that says "Get Paid to Review My Post".

How could you go wrong with a program like this? Don't wait any longer!!! Let's both earn some money!

Ms. Carpenter

Last weekend we happened to go to Lowe's. While we were there, we saw they were having a kids project going on. Craig asked me if Youngest Princess was going to do it. I said that I thought you usually had to preregister for those sort of things. I saw a girl working at it and I asked her. She said, "you don't have to this month, we have extra kits" WOOHOO, Youngest was excited! She got her very own apron and nametag, just like the workers wear, goggles, hammer and her kit. All the tables were full, so we planted our behinds down on the floor. We followed the directions and made a real cute valentine "mailbox" thingy. Youngest had a blast and was very proud of herself. When she was done, she turned in her hammer (got to keep the apron and goggles) and got a certificate of completion and a patch I will sew onto her apron. I didn't have the camera, but I did have a trusty camera phone!

Pay Per Post

Have you heard about Pay Per Post? If you haven't, go check it out. You can make money blogging!

Pay Per Post has rolled out a new update recently. With this update there is some big money to be made! It's called segmentation. If your page rank on your blog is high, you can make as much as $1,000 for one post!! Isn't that incredible? Now not all are that high, but you can sometimes make $25 per post, or even more!

Now don't worry if your page rank isn't high because Pay Per Post has opportunities for you too! You can usually make at least $5 per post but, more often than not, you can make more. But just think, making these posts may help your page rank increase, thusly making you able to take the higher paying opportunities! It's a win-win situation!

No matter which opportunity you take, Pay Per Post does require that when you make a post that you have a simple disclosure statment. No problem!

Compared to other paying blog sites, Pay Per Post takes less of the fee from the advertisers, meaning more money in your pocket! Can't beat that! So head over and check out Pay Per Post and get paid for writing what you want!!

That's such a bargain compared to what cards in the store would cost you and then postage on top of it. You can schedule cards in advance so you'll never have to say, ooops, sorry, I forgot!

Go check it out and send your special someone a Valentine's card like these:

Happy Valentine's Day!

I am so thankful to my wonderful husband. He's put up with so much from me and never really said anything about how awful I was.

I'm talking about before I got my, what I lovingly refer to, happy pills. LOL My anti-depressants. Since I haven't had insurance for 3+ years, I haven't been able to get my prescriptions. But, lack of insurance is a whole nother post ;) Anyway, right after Christmas, I had to go in to see the doctor as I had strep throat. I asked the doctor what I could do, if Target or Wal-Mart had any of meds I could take on their $4 list. My doc was pretty good, she gave me samples of the meds I was taking before and said to call her in a month. Phew! I can't believe the difference in how I feel. I'm actually happy. :) I catch myself smiling now. Anyway, I'm rather long-winded, but I said all that to say that never once did Craig complain about how I was acting. I know he sees the difference because he has asked me a couple times how I think the meds are doing. I tell him how I'm feeling and he agrees that I act/seem like I'm happier. He even asked the pharmacist at Target how much a month's supply is. It's $115 but not as bad as we had thought. He's also a fantastic daddy!! I couldn't have asked for a more involved dad.

I love you, Craig!!

Smilies

Hi Vlad. I got those smileys at Best Smileys.com.

Thanks for stopping by!

It's Tuesday

But guess what?! No dance class today. I stayed home with Youngest Princess today due to her having a bad cold. She'd probably be fine at dance class, but why push it? Especially when I'd love to stay at home? LOL

Let's see, I got the laundry all done, including the sheets on the bed and have remade the bed. I haven't gotten the dishes done yet though....I'm a slacker :)

Thanks

Thanks, Maggie for the comment about Macy's! I found out today though, that the dinner is canceled. Waaaaaaaahhhhh! The dinner was through the church, but they didn't even get 50% of the response that they needed to have so they canceled it. My reasoning is because it was a Thursday night. Oh well, Craig is still getting off work early and coming home and we'll go to dinner somewhere. He asked if I wanted to do it Wednesday and I told him no way! Everything will be too busy. LOL

Poker!

Wow, Craig and his friends would love to have one of these poker tables. Craig and his friends from work get together to play usually once every couple months or so. These tables would be a huge improvement over the card tables they use now. Talk about feeling like you're on the World Poker Tour!

Go check them out, they're beautiful!

Girl Talk...again

Oh boy. I can overhear Oldest Princess on the phone with two of her friends. She IM'd me to tell me they were having a 3-way conversation. LOL Anyway, they're talking about who's hotter....Ben, Some other kid or "Rye Bread", which I have now discovered to be some kid by the name of Rylie. You should hear the squealing coming from her room as one of her friends will say something to the effect of so and so high-fived me today!! I think it's along the lines of "I'll never wash this hand again".

Reverse Cell Phone Lookup

Have you ever looked at your caller ID and wondered who was at the phone number (xxx) xxx-xxxx because it only gave a number and possibly a city/state? Or do you recognize the number, but can't quite remember who that number belongs to and don't want to call it back without knowing exactly who you'll be talking to?

Never, fear, now you can do a Reverse Cell Phone Look Up with this new website! Check it out!

The Beginning of the Week

Happy Monday!!! I only have to work 2 more shifts at job #2 this week. YAHOOOOOOO! I, of course, have the other job, but that's ok. Craig and I are going to a Valentine's dinner on Thursday night. I still need to find something to wear. ACK! I hate that. I've looked at all my normal stores, although, I should go check at Macy's. Hmmm, I wonder when I can find the time LOL

Days of Our Lives Fans

Craig's Aunt is a huge fan of Days of Our Lives. She's even been to a fan convention and has done a scrapbook about her trip. Since she's such a fan, I'm going to pass on this site for Days of Our Lives.

Go check it out! I really like the fact that they're so in tune with their readers. One reader even wrote in and asked for pics of "Kayla's" hair so she could take the pictures to her hairdresser to have her hair cut the same way. The site answered her request! That's great customer service, I'd say!

I also like the way the site is laid out. Very user-friendly. There are separate
sections for updates, news, spoilers and more. I like the fact that I don't have to go hunting for the information I want. I just click on the link and go.

After passing this link on, I'm going to be the favorite niece-in-law!

Strange White Substance

There's this strange white substance on the bathroom counter. I asked Youngest Princess what it was. Was it powder? Her response was, "no, it's toilet paper". Um, ok. Doesn't look like it, but upon closer inspection, it was, indeed, wet, soggy toilet paper. I then asked Youngest why there was wet toilet paper on the counter. You ready for this????

"I was making a snowman". Um, alrighty then.

I hope we don't need to call my dad, the plumber, to do a snowman rescue from the drain. LOL
